BIOGRAPHY
I studied at Loughborough College of Art and Design, specialising in Printmaking. After graduating I began to paint and make prints full time. I have exhibited widely in galleries throughout the midlands and the UK, and my work has been represented internationally by a fine art publisher.
I am a member of Leicester Print Workshop where I have developed a range of unique prints by layering collagraph over collage, made up of old and unusual papers I collect.
Inspiration comes from travelling widely to places rich in culture and beauty. My sketchbook and camera are my travelling companions, enabling me to keep a visual record of my journey. Favourite places include Kettles Yard House in Cambridge, Barbara Hepworth’s sculpture garden and studio in St Ives, and the Pembrokeshire and Cornish coastlines. I have a love of gardens, textiles and ceramics.
I have a passion to develop creative projects within the community and have worked on large scale commissions for community spaces. I also continue to share my knowledge teaching in schools and FE environments.
